Join your Santiva Islanders friends in cleaning up our beaches as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s Annual International Coastal Cleanup. We have been assigned the half mile stretch from Nerita Beach Access to Sundial.

Cleanup:

Parking: Nerita St. Beach Access (A or B sticker required)

Time: Tailgate Breakfast—9:00am

Beach Clean-up—9:30am

If you’re not up for the cleanup, just come join us for the tailgate breakfast.

Please wear clothes suitable for beach conditions - sunscreen, sunglasses and hat are recommended. Closed-toe shoes are not required but are recommended. Volunteers should also bring a filled reusable water bottle. We will have all the supplies needed for the cleanup at the site.

There is limited parking, so we encourage carpooling or biking. If you don’t have a A or B sticker and need a place to park, please contact Laura Korn at (281) 222-5151.

Lunch: 

Starting at 11 am, volunteers are invited to join SCCF for lunch provided by Bank of the Islands at SCCF Bailey Homestead Preserve (1300 Periwinkle Way).
