Join us for a tour of the Island Water Association (IWA) on Wednesday, August 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. to get a closer look at our water supply here on Sanibel.
Our 1.5 hour tour will begin with a brief power point overview and continue with the IWA production team on a behind the scenes walking tour of the facility. Topics will range from the history of Island water infrastructure to residential delivery. Understanding our role in conversation and the science of our water supply is an important part of living on this unique barrier island.
Reservations are not required, but please let us know you are coming with a call to Dave or Jessica at 239-472-0345. There is no fee.
We’ll meet at the IWA facilities located at 3651 Sanibel Captiva Rd at 9:30 a.m. Please wear walking shoes or sneakers as this tour will include some indoor and outdoor areas, as well as stairs and uneven surfaces.
