Our kayaking destinations will vary but all kayakers will first meet up at the Sanibel Community Park on Periwinkle at 8:30 a.m. We will then caravan/carpool to the day’s launch site and kayak for about an hour and a half. We usually do a group lunch afterwards—Dutch treat.

Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are provided. Wear clothing and shoes that can get wet. Bring a towel, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a sense of adventure.

Space is limited and offered on a first come basis. You must sign up in person at the Sanibel Recreation Center. Registration opens two weeks before the trip date. To allow everyone to enjoy this benefit, only two trips per person per month are allowed.

A $5 fee for Center 4 Life Members or $20 fee for Non-Members is due at the time of sign up. Refunds are only allowed if the outing is canceled by the Center 4 Life.

Center 4 Life memberships are $20 per year and can be purchased at the Rec Center.
